The Animal Index is the collection log in the official how-to-play list. It records pets you hatch and pays claimable rewards. In observed play, claiming an entry also adds Speed, and a single claim has been worth millions of Speed. That is enough to open a zone the treadmill has not reached.
When to claim
- Hatch the pet and let it land in a base slot.
- Open the index and claim the new entry before you sell, fuse, or drop the pet.
- If the claim jumps your Speed, go back to the zone that was rejecting you and try the egg again.
- Size and mutation variants are part of what the game tells you to discover. A duplicate species can still be a different index line if the variant is new. Check the index before you treat a second pet as spare.
What not to delete early
Fusion deletes the three pets permanently. Selling removes the pet for a small Money return. Either one is safe only after the index screen shows the entry is already claimed, and only if you still have the earner you meant to keep.
Named pets that showed up in play, with or without a coins-per-second report, are collected on the pet list. The list is not a complete index. Halloween pets announced for the seasonal update were not named in the announcement used here, so they are not invented onto that list.
Badges are a separate Roblox award track. The public badge names are WELCOME!, Hatched Secret!, Hatched Eternal!, Hatched Divine!, and Demon Treadmill!. They are listed under badges. Award shares there are not hatch rates.
